New Gig Posters June/July

New gig posters for June/July:
1: Guitar prodigy Brodie Graham's "Sheepless In The Apple" album launch. 2: "Blues Deluxe Double Header" featuring Master bluesmen Blind Lemon & Andrew Baxter. 3: Five band metal/punk/progrock pile-up in sunny Ipswich.

New posters!

I was commissioned to create three posters for a client for gigs between January & April. Different lineups, different venues and different feels.

1. Went a little retro for this one, going for a kind of Paul Butterfield @ Fillmore East feel. If I had my druthers I'd use this style of typography on every poster :)
If you find yourself in Northern NSW, drop into Stokers Siding Hall, looks like some great shows

2. A little cleaner design for an acoustic gig at Chevron Island's best cafe/bar/music venue. Japanese beer and blues - you can't go wrong!

3. B.U.D. (Burleigh Underground Drummers) is a great little private venue tucked away in Burleigh's industrial district. I used my own foot pedal for a model for this one- first time it's been out of my harmonica case in about a year...

The rest of the story...

For those of you who didn't follow the 31Threads challenge on Twitter or Facebook here's how the October collection of tees turned out since my last post, Fresh t-shirts, served daily.

31Threads is a series of thirty-one t-shirts designed over thirty-one days. This tasty little critter is my first tee for the October Threads- one down, thirty more to go! You can pick one up for yourself or someone awesome here.

Miss Diamond Pin Up Pageant

Recently I designed a poster for the Miss Diamond Pin Up Pageant. I've now been asked to judge the event too! A night of old school burlesque AND I get free drinks? Genius.
